音は目に見えません。音には言葉もありません。それでも、そっと耳を傾けると——色や情景、温かさや切なさ、自分だけの世界がゆっくりと広がってきます。それはひとりひとり違う、自分だけの世界です。

My name is Akiko Sugita, Director of Musikfreude Music School. "Musikfreude" is a German word meaning "the joy of music."
Sound is invisible and wordless — yet when you listen closely, colors, landscapes, warmth, and emotion begin to unfold into a world uniquely your own.
We are here to help you express that inner world through body, mind, and heart, using the language of music.

開校から16年の間に、当教室で音楽を学んだ生徒さんたちの多くが、学業でも素晴らしい成果を上げ、それぞれの目標とする学校へ進んでいきました。「音楽を習ったから頭が良くなった」というよりも、音楽を学ぶ過程そのものに、学力の土台を育てる要素がたくさん詰まっているのだと、私たちは感じています。
Over 16 years, many of our students have gone on to excel academically and enter their schools of choice. We believe it is not simply that "music makes you smarter" — rather, the process of learning music itself is filled with elements that build the foundations of academic ability.
4分の4拍子、8分音符、付点のリズム——音符の長さを理解するには、分数や割り算の感覚が自然と身についていきます。子どもたちは音楽を楽しみながら、気づかないうちに算数の基礎となる「数の感覚」を体得しているのです。
4/4 time, eighth notes, dotted rhythms — understanding note values naturally develops an intuitive feel for fractions and division. Children absorb the foundations of mathematics while simply enjoying music.
「今日も弾いた」「昨日より上手くなった」——その小さな達成感の繰り返しが、子どもたちに「努力は実る」という体験を教えてくれます。幼いころから「続けることの喜び」を体で知ることは、どんな分野においても活きてくる生涯の財産です。
"I played today." "I'm better than yesterday." These small achievements teach children that effort pays off. Learning the joy of perseverance from a young age is a lifelong asset in any field.
「注意深く聴く力」は、授業中に先生の話をしっかり聞く力にもつながります。楽譜というひとつの言語を読み解く作業は、文章の読解力や論理的な思考力の基礎ともなっています。
The ability to listen attentively transfers directly to listening in class. Reading musical notation — a language of its own — also strengthens reading comprehension and logical thinking.
音楽教室に「卒業」はありません。ただ、ひとつの大きな到達点があるとすれば——どんな曲でも自分自身で楽譜を開き、音を読み解き、自らの演奏として仕上げられるようになることだと考えています。
楽譜と向き合えるようになったとき、音楽は「練習するもの」から「共に生きるもの」へと変わります。先生がそばにいなくても、知らない曲に出会っても、楽譜さえあればどこへでも行ける——その自由さと豊かさを、生徒さんお一人おひとりに手渡したいと思っています。
自分で読み、自分で考え、そして信頼できる師と対話しながらさらに高みへ——その循環こそが、音楽を一生涯の友とする道だと信じています。
One never truly graduates from music. But there is one great milestone: being able to open any score, read it yourself, and bring it to life as your own performance.
When you can engage with a score on your own, music transforms from "something you practise" into "something you live with." Even without a teacher beside you, even with a piece you've never seen before — the score is your guide to anywhere. That freedom is what we want to give every student.
Read for yourself, think for yourself, then reach higher through dialogue with a trusted teacher. That cycle is the path to music as a friend for life.

武蔵野音楽大学大学院修了後、ドイツへ渡りミュンヘン市立リヒャルト・シュトラウス音楽院大学院課程を審査員満場一致の満点にて修了。ミュンヘンにてスタインウェイ社主催リサイタルを開催。札幌にてリサイタル2回、交響楽団との共演ほか多数のコンサートに出演。
After completing her Master's at Musashino Academia Musicae, she moved to Germany and graduated with a unanimous perfect score from the Munich Municipal Richard Strauss Conservatory. She has performed at Steinway-sponsored recitals in Munich, given two solo recitals in Sapporo, and appeared with orchestras and at numerous concerts.
桐朋学園子供のための音楽教室、桐朋女子高等学校音楽科、桐朋学園大学卒業後、ドイツ・シュトゥットガルト国立芸術大学大学院修了、ディプロマ取得。1999〜2013年ドイツを拠点にヨーロッパ各地でソロコンサート・室内楽・レコーディング等に幅広く活躍。2011〜2013年ドイツ混声合唱団ゼンガーブントの常任指揮者・オストフィルデルン市音楽総監督を務める。ドイツ音楽家連盟登録ピアニスト。2013年より日本に拠点を移し、日本フィル公演参加・室内楽コンサートに出演。
A graduate of Toho Gakuen School of Music, she went on to earn a Diploma from the Stuttgart State University of Music and Performing Arts. Based in Germany 1999–2013, she performed as a soloist and chamber musician, and took part in recording projects across Europe. She served as principal conductor of the Sängerbund choir and Music Director of Ostfildern 2011–2013, and is a registered member of the German Musicians' Union. Since returning to Japan in 2013 she has performed with the Japan Philharmonic and in chamber concerts.
桐朋女子高等学校音楽科、桐朋学園大学卒業後、ドイツ国立フランクフルト音楽大学大学院ピアノソロ科修了、ディプロム取得。留学中は大学内外でソロ・アンサンブルのコンサートに多数出演し定期的に招かれる。帰国後は演奏活動と後進の指導にあたり、多くのコンクール入賞者や音楽高校・音楽大学への合格者を輩出。弦・管楽器、声楽のリサイタルやオーケストラ入団オーディション等の伴奏ピアニストとしても活躍。近年は東京・米子・京都でのコンサートツアーや横浜山手西洋館サマーコンサートにも出演。
After graduating from Toho Gakuen, she earned a Diplom from the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt, performing frequently as soloist and ensemble pianist throughout her studies. Back in Japan she combines active performance with teaching, producing many prize-winners and students accepted to leading music high schools and conservatories. She is also sought-after as accompanist for strings, winds, and voice, and has appeared in concert tours in Tokyo, Yonago, and Kyoto, as well as the Yokohama Yamate Western Houses Summer Concert.
武蔵野音楽大学卒業後、ドイツ国立ヴュルツブルク音楽大学ピアノ科卒業（ディプロム取得・ドイツ音楽教師国家資格取得）、同大学院修士課程修了、コンツェルトディプロム取得。14歳でのリサイタル開催以来、日独でソロ・室内楽・協奏曲等に出演。和光市民オーケストラとグリークのピアノ協奏曲を共演。CD「奈良真潮ピアノアルバム」シリーズをリリース。師にG.オピッツ、A.フォン アルニム各氏ほか。
After Musashino Academia Musicae, she studied at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg, earning a Diplom, the German state teaching qualification, a Master's, and a Konzertdiplom. A recitalist since the age of 14, she has performed solo, chamber, and concerto programmes in Japan and Germany, including Grieg's Piano Concerto with the Wako Citizens' Orchestra. She has released the "Mio Nara Piano Album" CD series and has studied with G. Oppitz and A. von Arnim, among others.
桐朋学園大学卒業後、Pascal Rogé氏の推薦による奨学金を得てパリ・エコールノルマル音楽院に留学、ピアノ及び室内楽の高等ディプロムを取得。パリ地方音楽院ピアノ科コンサーティスト課程を審査員満場一致の首席卒業、同時にピアノ伴奏科も卒業。フランスにて伴奏員も務める。南仏・広島・東京にてソロリサイタルを開催。ピアノデュオコンサートシリーズ"Belle Epoque"を定期的に開催。
After Toho Gakuen, she received a scholarship on the recommendation of Pascal Rogé to study at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, where she earned higher diplomas in piano and chamber music. She graduated first in her class — unanimous jury — from the Conservatoire de Saint-Maur Pianist/Soloist course and also completed the accompaniment course. She has performed as accompanist in France, given solo recitals in southern France, Hiroshima, and Tokyo, and regularly presents the piano-duo concert series "Belle Époque".
同志社女子大学音楽学部ピアノ科卒業後、ドイツ国立ワイマール・フランツリスト音楽大学大学院修了。これまでに馬場和世、岡原慎也、故クラウス・シルデ、ゲルリンデ・オットー、カール＝ハインツ・ケマーリング各氏に師事。日本演奏連盟会員。
A graduate of Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts, she went on to complete her postgraduate studies at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar. She has studied with Kazuyo Baba, Shinya Okahara, the late Klaus Schilde, Gerlinde Otto, and Karl-Heinz Kämmerling. Member of the Japan Federation of Performers.
上野学園大学ピアノ科卒業後、コンセルヴァトアール尚美でピアノ演奏家ディプロマ取得。奨学金を得てテキサスクリスチャン大学及びモスクワ音楽院に研修留学後、ロシア国立モスクワ音楽院大学院に正式留学し修了。東京・パリとはまた異なる、ロシア音楽の深い伝統と表現力を指導に活かしています。
After graduating from Ueno Gakuen University and earning a performer's diploma from Conservatoire Shobi, she received scholarships to study at Texas Christian University and the Moscow Conservatory before completing a full postgraduate programme at the State Moscow Conservatory. She brings to her teaching the deep traditions and expressive power of the Russian school — a world apart from the Tokyo or Paris approaches.
4歳より武蔵野音楽大学附属音楽教室にてヴァイオリンを始める。武蔵野音楽大学器楽科ヴァイオリン専攻を首席で卒業し、同大学卒業演奏会・新人演奏会・読売新人演奏会に出演。その後渡独し、ドイツ国立ヴュルツブルク音楽大学大学院のマイスター最終リサイタルにおいて満場一致の最高得点にて卒業しマイスターを取得。在学中に日本クラシック音楽コンクール入選、モスクワパガニーニ国際ヴァイオリンコンクールにてDiplom授与、アラムハチャトゥリアン国際コンクール第三位入賞。ヴァイオリンを柴香苗、グレゴリー・フェイギン、グレゴリー・ジスリン各氏に、重奏伴奏法をアリッサ・ヴァイツネル氏に師事。帰国後は演奏活動と後進の指導を開始し今年で10年。東京芸術協会主催のリサイタルをはじめ、室内楽・オーケストラ・幼稚園やホテルでの演奏も行う。現在、武蔵野音楽大学附属音楽教室講師。
She began violin at the age of four at the Musashino Academia Musicae Music School. She graduated top of her class from the instrumental faculty of Musashino Academia Musicae, performing at the university's graduation, debut, and Yomiuri debut concerts. She then moved to Germany, where she completed her Meisterklasse at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg with a unanimous highest distinction. During her studies she won a prize at the Japan Classic Music Competition, received a Diplom at the Moscow Paganini International Violin Competition, and took third prize at the Aram Khachaturian International Competition. She has studied violin with Kanae Shiba, Gregory Feigin, and Gregory Zhislin, and chamber accompaniment with Alyssa Weitzner. Since returning to Japan — now in her tenth year of performing and teaching — she has appeared in recitals presented by the Tokyo Arts Association, as well as in chamber music, orchestral, and outreach concerts.
4歳よりイギリスにてピアノを始める。東京学芸大学卒業後、奨学生としてベルリン市立音楽学校に在籍しながらドイツ・ベルリンで研鑽を積む。武蔵野音楽大学大学院修了。大学院在学中に古楽に興味を持ちチェンバロを始める。ピアノを池川礼子、岡村重信、フランク・ウィバウト、笠間春子、山田富士子、中野孝紀、丸山淑子の各氏に師事。ミハイル・ヴォスクレセンスキー、フィリップ・ジュジアーノ、ケヴィン・ケナー、クシシュトフ・ヤブウォンスキ、クラウス・ヘルヴィッヒ、フィリップ・モル、マティアス・キルシュネライト他の各氏の指導も受ける。チェンバロを西山まりえ氏、オルガン・通奏低音を石丸由佳氏に師事。ポーランド・クラクフ室内管弦楽団と共演。モーツァルテウム音楽院、パリ国際音楽アカデミー他、多数の音楽祭に参加。2019年よりモーツァルト：ヴァイオリン・ソナタの録音をスタート（全曲録音予定）。日本音楽コンクール、日本クラシック音楽コンクール、新国立劇場オペラ研修所等の試験伴奏、東京文化会館主催公演の稽古ピアノ・コレペティも担当。現在、ソロ・室内楽・歌曲伴奏に積極的に取り組み、チェンバロ演奏にも力を注ぐ。武蔵野音楽大学・洗足学園音楽大学伴奏員。
She began studying the piano at the age of four while living in England. After graduating from Tokyo Gakugei University, she studied on scholarship at the Berlin City Music School before completing a postgraduate degree at Musashino Academia Musicae, where she developed a keen interest in early music and took up harpsichord. She studied piano with Reiko Ikegawa, Shigenobu Okamura, Frank Wibaut, Haruko Kasama, Fujiko Yamada, Takanori Nakano, and Yoshiko Maruyama, and also participated in masterclasses with Mikhail Voskresensky, Philippe Giusiano, Kevin Kenner, Krzysztof Jabłoński, Klaus Hellwig, Philippe Moll, and Matthias Kirschnereit. She studied harpsichord with Marie Nishiyama and organ/continuo with Yuka Ishimaru. She has performed with the Kraków Chamber Orchestra and participated in prestigious international academies and festivals, including the Mozarteum Academy and the Paris International Music Academy. Since 2019 she has been recording the complete cycle of Mozart's Violin Sonatas. She has served as official accompanist for competitions including the Japan Music Competition and the Japan Classic Music Competition, and as répétiteur for auditions to the New National Theatre Opera Studio. She has also worked as rehearsal pianist and coach for productions at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan. She is active as a soloist, chamber musician, collaborative pianist, and harpsichordist. She is currently a staff accompanist at Musashino Academia Musicae and Senzoku Gakuen College of Music.
当教室では、５月に小さなホールで開催するおさらい会と、１１月に大きなホールで開催する発表会を毎年催しています。
また、大人の生徒さんには毎年６月にサロンコンサートを開催しており、演奏終了後には生徒さんと講師、生徒さん同士が気軽に語らえるパーティも大変好評をいただいています。
お子さんたちの成長はとても早く、半年ごとに向き合う曲のレベルが変わるほどです。しかし、ゴールのない努力はなかなか緊張感を持って続けることができません。半年に一度、人前で演奏するという明確な目標を設けることで、生徒さんたちは日々の練習に真剣に向き合うことができます。
Every year we hold an Informal Recital in May in a small hall, and a Formal Recital in November in a larger hall.
For adult students, we also hold an annual Salon Concert in June, followed by a casual party where students and teachers can mingle freely — always a wonderful occasion.
Children grow remarkably fast, and the level of repertoire they tackle changes every six months. Without a clear goal, it is hard to maintain focused practice. A performance every six months gives students something concrete to work toward.
学校や塾、他の習い事で忙しい中でも、発表会という目標があることで練習への取り組みが変わります。本番の緊張感を経験することは、演奏の成長にとってかけがえのない体験です。さらにこの経験は、受験や試験など人生の大切な場面でも緊張に負けず実力を発揮できる力へとつながっていきます。
Even with busy school and activity schedules, having a recital to work toward transforms how students practise. The experience of performing under pressure is irreplaceable for musical growth — and it also builds the composure to perform at one's best in high-stakes situations such as entrance examinations and interviews.
先生たち、ご両親、同じ教室で学ぶ仲間とそのご家族の前で演奏し、温かい拍手を受ける——その体験が達成感と自己肯定感を深め、次への大きな原動力となります。
Performing in front of teachers, parents, fellow students, and their families — and receiving warm applause — deepens the sense of achievement and self-worth, and becomes powerful motivation for what comes next.
